Time is fleeting, why waste it?

Time is the most precious resource we have. It can not be paused, extended, or replenished.

Each moment of the day we waste can never be recovered.

When it comes to your professional goals, it would be wise to eliminate time-wasting tasks ruthlessly, allowing you to focus on what really matters.

Too Much of Everything

Less is more.

You must pick only the few projects to focus on. Do not have dozens of professional goals.

Learn to say ‘no.’

By having dozens of goals you fall into the trap of a jack of all trades, but master of none. You can’t be great at everything, but you can be outstanding at 2–3 things.

Delegation or Elimination

All of the tasks that do not allow you to focus on major projects are a waste of time and money.

Let’s say you make $100,000 per year, this equates to $48/per hour. Would you want to pay someone $48 to accomplish this task?

If that answer is no, it should be delegated or deleted.

If you wouldn’t pay yourself to do the task, then the task isn’t worth doing, or is perfect to outsource to a lower cost virtual assistant.

Attain Your Goals

You can accomplish a lot in a full work day if you remove the low-value tasks and allocate your time to more high-value projects.

Eliminate everything that erodes your focus so you position yourself to accomplish the goals that truly matter.
